SnapFactory’s Online Photography Competition
It’s our 2nd Anniversary and we’ve come up with an online photography competition with amazing prizes.
The competition is split into 2 categories, namely DSLR, and Mobile Photography, both being mutually exclusive.
Theme: “The Shades of Summer”

Prizes
- 1st Prize winner in each category gets Amazon.in gift voucher worth INR 200, additionally First Two Wheeler Service Free with 50% discount on engine oil from MotoFit along with a certificate of achievement from The SnapFactory.
- Every participant gets 50% discount on engine oil change on their first service at MotoFit.
Terms and Conditions
- Every participant is entitled to participate in only one category.
- Every participant is entitled to submit only one entry(photograph).
- No submission shall be considered beyond the deadline (June 20th, 2018).
- The SnapFactory reserves non-exclusive rights to publish the photographs on our social media platforms, and blog with proper citation to the owner of the photograph.
- The SnapFactory will not save a copy of the submissions beyond the end of the event.
- The SnapFactory’s decision remains final and binding, and cannot be challenged under any circumstances.
- Your contact details submitted through the form shall be stored for the purpose of verification of submissions and proper distribution of the prizes/ coupons.
- Your participation is subject to your adherence to the terms and conditions, and submission guidelines.
Submission Guidelines
- The photograph should be submitted only in JPEG format.
- Artistic Editing is strictly not allowed, any editing beyond basic retouching, if found, the entry shall be disqualified.
- Any plagiarism, if found, the entry shall be disqualified.
- The file size shall not go beyond 10 MB(Megabytes).
- The photograph shall not contain any text/ copyright information of the photographer printed on it. The copyright information shall be submitted via the form.
Judging Criteria
- Judging shall be done by photography experts at The SnapFactory and other renowned experts based on their availability.
- Every photograph will be scored out of 100.
- 40 for Composition and Concept
- 30 for Technical Aspects(exposure, etc).
- 30 for Normalized Likes received on your photograph on The SnapFactory’s Instagram page – @the.snapfactory.
- Maximum likes will be allocated a perfect 30/30 score and others will be scaled based on the maximum number of likes.
- Scaling would be done using the formula,
30 × (Likes on Your Post ÷ Maximum Number of likes)

- Photographs will be posted on Instagram on daily basis and would be First Come First Served basis, so grab the opportunity by early submission. Likes would be counted till June 24th, 2018 23:59 hours IST (11:59 pm IST).
